Learn about passwords at DePauw
DePauw passwords must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum length of 8 characters
- Must not contain your name or username
- Must contain at least 3 of the following 4 types of characters:
- Lowercase letters (abcd…)
- Uppercase letters (ABCD…)
- Numbers (1234…)
- Special characters (!@#$…) (Exception: Mac users should not use special characters for their Network/Moodle/Printer password at this time.)

How to change your passwords
There are three (3) separate systems supported by Information Services that you will need to maintain. For step-by-step instructions on how to change your password in each of these systems, browse to:

Reset a forgotten password
If you have forgotten your password for any of your three (3) accounts, visit the HelpDesk located on the lower level of the Memorial Student Union Building. You will need to present your DePauw ID OneCard when asking to have your password reset.
